Despite that range, customer feedback and market analysis showed room to improve the portfolio management experience, to attract and keep both retail and institutional investors.

CWG Markets has robust trading infrastructure, but the product experience didn’t reflect it. Users found it hard to understand their account status quickly, reach essential trading actions, or feel confident managing positions and funds, and many dropped off after their first session.

A Design System Built for CWG Markets

CWG Markets’ design system gives the platform a high-performance visual foundation by standardising colour, typography, layout, components, and iconography. It keeps trading dashboards, charts, order panels, and account views consistent, and lets the product scale without losing clarity or speed.

UX Design for Everyday Trading Needs

I designed the UX to help traders act quickly and with confidence. Layouts are simplified, key data is prioritised, and friction is removed from core actions. Charts, prices, and positions are structured for fast scanning, and essential actions, like placing trades and managing risk, are easy to reach and predictable. The result is a clear, efficient experience that supports speed, accuracy, and confident decisions in fast-moving markets.
